About Us - Butte Home Health & Hospice

Butte Home Health & Hospice was founded in 1984 in Chico, California by Mike and Brooke Quilici. We are a
State-Licensed, Medicare-Certified home health agency; Non-Profit and Community Owned.

In 1987, Butte Home Health became the First Free Standing, Nonprofit, Certified Hospice in Northern California and has grown to serve 7 Counties including: Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Shasta, Sutter, Tehama, and Yuba Counties.

Today, our Home Care and Hospice Programs continue to be on the cutting edge of new methods and approaches to the care of patients and their families.

We are members of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), the California State Hospice Association, the National Association for Home Care (NAHC), and the California Association for Health Services at Home.

Our motto, "A Promise of Excellence" is reflected in our staff and services as we strive for excellence in patient care at all levels.
