While you honor your own special memories of a friend or a loved one, your gift will go on to provide comfort for many other patients and families in their time of need. These gifts are often made through a will, an\ninsurance policy, or a trust. These can also be made in cash, stocks, or other\nsources. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Gifts of Time\/Volunteering:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n In\naddition to supporting hospice financially many people enjoy investing their time\nand expertise as hospice volunteers. We at Hospice of Butte Home Health say\nthat volunteers are the “heart of hospice” because they are involved\nin almost everything that we do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Hospice\nvolunteers perform a variety of duties including spending time with patients,\nfamily support, bereavement support, clerical work, fund-raising, and special\nprojects in the office.
