Recent news about the closure of Enloe Health\u2019s Home Health and Hospice services has understandably raised concern in our community. Headlines referencing \u201chealth service cuts\u201d have prompted many to ask: What will this mean for families in Chico and the surrounding areas who rely on home-based care?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n At Butte Home Health, we want to be clear: We are proud to share that Butte Home Health has been named a Preferred Provider<\/strong> by Enloe Health. That means as Enloe transitions away from offering home health and hospice directly, they are entrusting us\u2014an established, local, Medicare-certified provider\u2014to care for their patients going forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are expanding. This is not a contraction of services\u2014it\u2019s a strategic handoff to a provider deeply rooted in this region, fully equipped to meet increased demand, and committed to delivering the same level of excellence families expect from Enloe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our nurses, therapists, aides, and support staff are working hard every day to ensure a seamless transition<\/strong> for patients and families. We\u2019re increasing our staffing to meet the growing need, and we\u2019ve opened our doors to Enloe team members who may be looking for new career opportunities with an organization that shares their mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We know that healthcare transitions can feel uncertain.
