Butte Home Health & Hospice is a nonprofit organization and is generally not a “business” subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We nonetheless honor the following choices as a good-faith privacy practice for website visitors:

  • Access. Request information about the website personal information we hold about you.
  • Deletion. Request that we delete website personal information you’ve provided, subject to legal exceptions (such as records we’re required to keep).
  • Correction. Request that we correct inaccurate website personal information.
  • Opt out of non-essential tracking. Decline non-essential cookies at any time using the button in Section 1.
  • Non-discrimination. You’ll receive the same service regardless of the privacy choices you make.

3. Our Position on Selling or Sharing Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run advertising or remarketing pixels on the Site. The third-party services we use (such as Google Analytics, Google Maps, and YouTube) load only after you provide consent, and are used for website analytics and embedded content — not advertising.

4. How to Exercise Your Choices

You may:

  • Use the consent management button in Section 1 to opt out of non-essential tracking immediately;
  • Email us at info@buttehh.org with the subject “Privacy Request”;
  • Call us at (530) 895-0462; or
  • Mail a written request to the address in Section 7 below.

When submitting a request, please include your full name, contact information, a description of the choice you are exercising, and enough information for us to verify your identity. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days, with a possible extension if needed (we’ll let you know).

5. Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require signed written authorization from you, verification of the agent’s identity, and direct verification of your own identity. Submit authorized-agent requests using the contact methods in Section 4, with documentation of the agent relationship included.

6. Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it as a request to opt out of non-essential tracking. You don’t need to take any additional action if you’ve enabled GPC, though we still recommend setting your preferences using the button in Section 1 for complete control.
