November 13-19th is National Home Care Aide Week. Home Care Aides provide much-needed care services to the elderly, disabled and infirm. They help with bathing and personal care as well as educating caregivers and families on safe techniques in caring for their loved ones.

Our Home Care Aides have combined experience of over 20 years! They enjoy the one-on-one time with patients and families, making sure they are comfortable and have the emotional support they need. Being able to help patients with personal care and bonding with them and their families is heart warming to our aides, and at times can be bittersweet. It is an honor to them to be invited into their home during the last very personal and intimate part of life’s journey.

We are lucky to have such incredible and caring Home Health Aides at BHH.

Carol, Kelly and Jennifer – Thank you for all that you do for our Home Health and Hospice patients and their families. Your support and caring ways are appreciated beyond words.
